An introduction to the Meisner technique and a focus on the first two exercises: The repetition exercise and independent activities. Actors will learn to become spontaneous responders and to live truthfully from moment to unanticipated moment with their partners.
A strict focus will be placed on getting the attention off yourself and onto your partner. The course will end with partnered short scene work with these first two principles applied. No pre-requisite Meisner work is needed to take this course.
